How To Share Your Google Ads Account

Here's how to share Your Google Ads account with a digital marketing agency.

It's very likely you are currently wasting some of your monthly Google Ads budget. I know it sucks, but you're not alone. Typically I have found this is commonly due to issues relating to your account set-up, management and optimisation. Therefore it makes sense to have your Google Ads account audited. I can review your account and show you proven ways to improve your Google Ads ROI. This is something I do on a weekly basis for businesses owners like you.

In order to audit your Google Ads account, I need access to it. To do this I don't actually need your login details. As a Google Partner, I can access your account via my special Google Ads My Client Center (MCC) account. I simply need your customer ID number to get started.

Please follow these 5 steps in order to give me your Google Ads customer ID number and as a result give me access to your account.

1. Login To Google Adwords

Login to your Adwords account at http://ads.google.com

Locate your customer ID number in the top right corner next to the small cog icon.

It will be a 10 digit number in this format: 123-456-7890

2. Email Your Adwords Customer ID Number To Me

Copy your customer ID number and send it to me

3. Wait 5 Minutes While I Request Access To Your Account

Once I have your Adwords Customer ID number I will use my MCC account to request access to your account. I will notify you via email when I have done this.

4. Log Back Into Your Google Ads Account And Go To Your Account Settings

On receipt of my email, log back into Your Google Ads account and click on the cog icon and then click on "Account Settings".

5. Accept My Request To Access Your Google Ads Account

Click on "Account Access" in the left-hand sidebar and then click on "Accept Request".

A popup will appear asking you to confirm your decision to give me access to your Adwords interface and API access. To do this click OK.

Clicking OK gives me client manager access to your account. I can now review your account within my MCC. You have successfully shared your Google Ads account with me.

Note it will now say "User interface and API" under the heading "Access Type" in the "Client Managers" section.

6. Wait 5 Days Whilst I Audit Your Adwords Account

Having audited your account, and discussed my recommendations you can simply cancel access by clicking on "Actions" and then clicking on "Terminate Access".

Please contact me if you have any further questions about these 6 steps to auditing your Google Ads account.
